Fahrer wartete anscheinend am falschen Hotel, obwohl am Tag zuvor meine portugiesischen Freunde telefonisch nochmal alles gesagt hatten!! Kam 15 Minuten zuspät, musste meine Freundin um 3 Uhr wecken, damit sie dort anruft!!!

The website was easy to use, we had no problems making our booking.
Our driver on the way from the airport to the resort was knowledgeable and told us a lot about the area. He also gave us extra service by buying us bottles of water while we waited for the ferry. He was on time, polite and friendly.
Our experience on the way back was a completely different one, and for this reason the entire transfer is rated as poor. It was not our driver's fault, he apologized profusely, but because the ferry was delayed he arrived a half hour late, and because the amount of ferries that day was limited we had to drive around the peninsula which took a lot more time. Luckily Shuttle Direct had made us calculate with any delays, which we were in retrospect grateful for. What we did not like, however, was that we did not receive a call informing us that he would be late (we assumed he would either call us or the hotel), so we were left thinking he did not arrive at all, and when we tried to dial the emergency number we had to call twice before anyone picked up. Most importantly the driver had not received information that we needed a baby seat for our 13 month old son (which we of course gave information about when we made the booking). So our son had to sit on my lap driving 120 kilometres per hour on the motorway. This felt very unsafe. Please provide better information for your drivers in the future, so they have all the necessary equipment in the car and also can call upon any delays.
