I was rather disappointed when we arrived on Malta, we paid for a private car and got a mini bus sharing with 2 other couples.

On arrival at the airport the driver had a wrong name, causing us unnecessary stress running around and trying to find our pick-up. On the way back our docs showed pick-up time as 11:10 but apparently the garage/driver had 11:45 on their records, which resulted in an hour waiting at the hotel door and two phone calls trying to get updates etc...
