However far worse is not getting an occasional update from the staff how long the wait possibly will be. So an update every 15 minutes or so from the staff with a realistic update would be welcome. It is easier to be patient if you know upfront that the wait might be 45 minutes than not knowing how long the wait will be and leaving in 30 minutes. The worst option is to tell someone: "we are waiting for 1 more person"...
