    The pretty town of Albir is located on the Costa Blanca and is the perfect choice for families seeking excellent beaches, a balmy climate and a peaceful alternative to some of the areas more typical, louder resorts. The beautiful Playa de Rac del Albir beach has been awarded the coveted European Union Blue Ribbon every year, and unlike many in the area it remains relatively calm and unspoilt even during peak season. Sunbathers can lie back and enjoy the truly magnificent views, basking in the luxury of their own space and take a dip in the cool sea happy in the knowledge that they are being watched over by trained lifeguards. The town itself exudes a similar feeling of spaciousness and tranquillity, with wide tree lined streets and lots of pavement cafes, bars and restaurants where you can relax and watch passers by stroll past.     Booked tickets through flybus, about 18euros for 2 of us from Alicante airport to Albir ( our destination was Altea but it doesnt go that far ) not seeing any recent reviews, was a bit apprehensive but it wasnt any bother at all. Found the desk easily an the english lady was very helpful, waited on coach 20 mins, only 1 other couple on there, air con, comfortable
    Had originally marked down the stop in Albir ( which they ask you for when booking ) but realised later we needed to stop near the tram station for Altier so asked driver before departure could he stop there, wasnt a problem for him, very polite, would deffo use this firm again
