Purpose-built in the 1930s by Giovanni Agnelli, one of the founding members of the car manufacturer Fiat, Sestriere offers exciting off-piste opportunities, stunning panoramic views, and sunny days filled with snow.
With plenty of intermediate-level pistes, which can sometimes be scarce on more popular resorts, and the opportunity to buy a Milky Way ski pass, everyone staying in Sestriere is able to ski to their heart’s desire. Moreover, if you are looking for something slightly different, this resort also offers you the possibility to ski along the runs used for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games… at night-time!
Due to its high altitude, Sestriere is not connected to its nearest airport, Turin, by any form of public transport. The easiest way to reach the resort is by booking a private airport transfer that will be waiting for you on arrival and will also pick you up from your accommodation and take you back to the airport in just over an hour and a half from £194.88.
