- Group reductions. At the moment, there are four options available – the Single, Duo, Tribu (three or more in a group) and Family (a minimum of two adults and two children under 18). The savings per person can be significant and well worth having.
Using the two options together when visiting Méribel, can help save a fair amount of money as opposed to simply paying for the lifts as you need them. Granted, the savings aren’t eye-watering but they’re worth having all the same and in some cases, might be as high as 10 or 15 Euros.
Time
This piece of advice isn’t only about cost, though. Unless you really enjoy standing in lengthy queues at lift pass sales offices, constantly rotating your head through 360 degrees watching for queue-jumpers, these passes are a must.
Most of us go skiing to actually spend as much of our time as possible on the slopes and as little as we can get away with queuing up to buy tickets. Quite literally, the more time you’re trying to buy tickets, then the less time you’ll be on the snow and enjoying yourself.
