Andorra is a small country, but it is packed with wonders. One of my favourites is the Romanesque church in the town Santa Coloma, which has been standing since at least the 9th century, making it the oldest church in the country! Its most distinctive feature is its circular bell tower, which was added in the 12th century. The structure looks absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains, especially when the clouds are hanging low over the peaks. If you find yourself in the Pyrenees, the Church of Santa Coloma is definitely worth a visit. And it’s free!
