If you are planning on running the London marathon then you need to book early. Demand is high and the event is regarded amongst the top five marathons in the world.
Many of London’s attractions are included on the 26 mile and 365 yard journey, including Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace, before the race concludes in the Mall.
The race began in 1981 and has grown in popularity year on year, with 40,000 runners expected for the 2015 event.
