If you want the peace and quiet of staying in a small ski resort at night, but you would still like the opportunity to explore other areas easily during the day, Gerlos is a great village to set up base in. Not only is it a quaint little town with great slopes; it is also within the Zillertal Arena, an area that offers free ski buses for those wanting to get around the region in order to explore different towns, landscapes, and pistes.

These buses will take from your hotel to the valley stations of other villages and vice versa, as long as you have your winter sports equipment with you and a valid ski ticket. The free ski buses operate within the lifts’ opening hours between the 5th of December 2015 and the 10th of April 2016.

Gerlos’s closest airport, Munich, is a bit over two hours away and there are no public transport connections between the two. To ensure you reach your accommodation quickly and comfortably, book one of our shuttle bus services from just £34.54 and start getting ready for a wonderful holiday!
